This is my first ever post so I’m not sure on what I should say. What are blog rules on grammar and punctuation errors? Maybe my mother will know, she was an English teacher for about 15 years. If anybody reads this and has an answer, please post a comment.

Good grammar is never inappropriate. If this is a blog that you expect your professional contacts to see, standard English is the best choice. Remember, in the digital world, no post ever goes away. Poor/ or less than stellar public postings can (and have) come back to haunt the author.
